what do eggs do to your paint job

this is what your paint will look like if you ever get egged, leaves a ring of chipped paint, and it sucks. there are about 12 of these marks on my car.

Grrrr..

My car was also egged about two months ago.. I got relatively lucky though and caught it early the next morning before it had a chance to bake on. It was also only one egg. However, It was on my new paintjob and the person who did it smeared it around with his fingers and some eggshell scratched up my clearcoat.

Sorry about your car man... I really feel for you.

That really sucks.. I just got egged last saturday and didn't know it until I was late for work (its fun driving around town, with an egg display on your car). My paint isn't so great to begin with, but the act is enough to **** me off. My friend's car also just got egged. It seems to be an evil trend

I got egged about 2 months ago, and my paintjob is now ruined. It was thrown from far away so it smeared all over the roof and drivers side. It really ticks me off how people can so easily ruin something you've worked so hard for. When I get my car repainted, I'm definetly investing in a quality car cover and using it!

To keep the problem from happening again, I turned the sensitivity on my alarm all the way up. I just hope they try it again, this time I'll catch em!

You could try to sand and buff it out with some 1500 grit sand paper and water. Then go over it with 2000 or 3000 grit sand paper also with water. And then try to buff it out using 3M rubbing compuond and a buffer. Hope it works for ya if ya try it.

I had a party last year, and needless to say some kids felt like they had to egg everyone's cars..

luckily some people heard them and found me.. needless to say, i went sprinting down the road with my paintball gun, and sent about 100 rounds in their direction.. not sure if i hit anyone or not, but i'm sure i scared the hell outta them. and they haven't messed with me since.

a friend of mine's caprice got egged about 2 weeks ago in front of my house but luckly they didnt get my car lol he seen the eggs in like 30mins of it happening and cleaned it the next morning.lazy ***. a paintball gun is a good choice, even better if you have some marbles to put in it or frozen paintballs.lmfao i've only had a problem with some kids stealing the cromies off my car but got lucky again and the kids gave them back. but i have got eggs thrown at me by kids doing egg drive-by's in my neiborhood but that stopped after i started carring a nice rock in my pocket. you get the idea HERE'S ANOTHER TOPIC FOR THOUGHT, WHAT DOES BALONEY DO TO YOUR PAINT AFTER SITTING IN THE SUN FOR AWHILE?

balogna can be very viscious to paint also and it will leave some really weird looking dots about the size of well a slice of bologna

there are many many types of things that can ruin a cars paint job

a friend of mine had someone pour brake fluid over his car one night after he had just got it painted and needless to say brake fluid works as a very good paint stripper if you didnt know and had to have the entire car repainted

All these people getting egged?? You guys gotta stop letting these crazy women know where you live, they are relentless I ticked off one girl and she used two dozen eggs on my black truck and then threw a brick through the back window. Needless to say, I now take them to a hotel instead of my house..
