help

Ok I want to take a Auto Meter 3 Guage Panel and Mount it to where the Center Heater Vents are. My Question is that the guage Panel is made of Metal Probally aluminum and the dash is a form of plastic. I was going to Fiberglass the panel in but some one said that Fiberglass wont Stick to Plastic. I have used Fiberglass to do many Things and have no problem Using Fiberglass so Here are my Questions.

1.Has anybody sucsfully Mounted 3 Guages in this location
2.Will fiberglass Bond to the plastic
3. If the answer to #2 is no What Recommendations for mounting this, and I want it to look like it was made that way, not Sloped on.

Yes, I did. I used the mounting screws that are already under the vents and secured the panel there. It set the gauges back about an inch or so from the face of the vents. I used angle rings from autometer.

It will 'Glass, but you should epoxy and rivet the aluminum to the dash first. Personally, I don't think that that step is nessecary, but i'm all about goin' fast, not showing.
