So a little while ago my two idiot friends pulled my passenger seat belt out the whole way.. getting it stuck. I searched on here to find a solution but it seems everyone said to buy a new mechanism. So i decided to try and fix it anyways.

first I unbolted it from the car. once its down its a lot easier to work on.

 

on each side of it are white covers, one held on by screws, the other one popped in place. Dont take off the screw one or.. your screwed... pop the other one off with a small screwdriver

 

underneith is a small pin holding everything in place, pull the pin out slightly and the seatbelt will wind back up on its own... be gentle tho

 

works great now... just make sure if you do this that your careful.. theres some unusual parts in there hehe
