I am new here and I just bought a '88 GTA with a digital dash. It has some LEDs out and I would like to change to an analog dash. Is it possible without changing the entire dash harness?

I found a post about changing TO a digital dash. I am just not sure if those instructions will work in reverse.

Is there another thread dedicated to this out there?

everything should work in reverse, however, that's a lot of work to get a "just like everyone else" result. I'd do my best to find another digital cluster, or have the one you have replaced. A friend of mine found a digital dash from a junkyard car, don't know what worked and what didn't, and it's just sitting around in the shop...wonder what he'd want for that.

 

If you are looking to get rid of the digital dash, I'll take it. I need a spare.

any1 kno what would have to be done? im searching and this is the only thing that is close to what i want. i want to get rid of my digital dash as i like the analog better my car is a 88 t/a 305tbi 5spd with 3.42s(also any1 kno the combo for speedo gears on a 5spd with 3.42s?)
