4th gen seat covering question

Since the deal fell through on my "mint" 4th gen t/a seats, a guy on coloradof-body said he has a set of cloth 95 camaro seats that he will sell me for 50 bucks. I dont want cloth and they are slightly worn anyway but for 50 bucks and the foam is perfect i think thats a hell of a deal.

Classic industries has the hampton vinyl covers for them for 400 bucks, i'd be 450 deep for perfect seat of teh gen 4 lol. Can you recover cloth seats in the hampton without problems. We recovered the seats in my dads 81 Z with the covers from classic and its easy to do but you can change the material right? without fitting issues?

Hawk's has covers too.

Pretyy easy to do. Use a hair dryer or leave them out in the sun to stretch. Mix some dishsoap with water in a spray bottle to get them to slide into position. It helps a lot.

Oh man usa you ar ethe man i saw a rambler or something at a show friday and didnt think the seats liek your like i was going to get would look meaty enough in the rs. I've been looking for that pic of your interior for 3 days now. They look good as heel, i'm definately going with the 95 camaro seats. Interior looks real sweet man:hail:

Thanks, dude. Here's the skinny ... after you peel the old covers off, use a hair dryer or let the sun heat the new covers up to stretch them out a bit. It WILL help. Also, use a spray bottle with a mixture of water and dishsoap to help manuever the new covers into place. I rolled mine inside out and work a little at a time down over the seat. You may end up with little wrinkle spots but those will be worked out by sitting on them and the sun stretching them out. Well worth the $425 for the covers.
