Anyone know of a company that sells a 2" or 2.5" bolt on cowl hood for the birds? All I can seem to find are 4" cowls for birds and that looks to high for my tastes.

anything smaller than 4'' looks to small because the hoods are so big

Try VFN Fiberglass, (630) 543-0232 or check out their online catalog at www.vfnfiberglass.com. The sell bolt on and pin on 2" and 4" cowl hoods, and can custom make other scoops too. They are reasonably priced, and good quality. I have bought 2 hoods from them, and have had no problems (they come really straight for being fiberglass).

Yeah. Cowls look bad *** on Camaros, but I think that because the 'Birds hoods are so sloped, it's tough to get a cowl to fit the body lines.

This is what I want... Paint and hood-wise. Anyone know who's car it is? I can't remember where I got the image.

I dunno whose car that is, but it appears to have a Harwood 3" cowl hood on it. It looks exactly like mine. Only shiny.

Nope, that yellow one looks to tall and chunky. I like the way the Harwood 3" is more progressive, i.e. short at the front and gets taller at the back.

Firebird 383, that's exactly what I needed. I had just found it in the appearance section too. Thanks!
