changing bumper cover and ground effects on 92 bird??
Hey all, I have a 92 firebird convertible, and if possible I would like to consider changing the bumper cover and ground effects over to the 89-90 trans am style design. My intention would be to copy the 89-90 trans am look. My question is, will the 89-90 trans am bumper cover and ground effects fit on my 92bird?? If so how difficult would the labour be to do so?? Any info would be helpful!! Thanks!! Rob

visibily looking at pics of both my car and a 92 firebird i think it would be pretty easy to do , the bumper's wouldnt seem to be a problem but the only thing i can think that would give you some hassle is the side moldings , your 92's molding goes all the way up the door where as the TA's doesnt, you might have to fill in some holes if the molding is held up through the door?, of course i could be wrong i dont own a 92
, just letting you know what i think, heres a pic of my car , see the molding doesnt run up the door
