Camaro window glass rubber seals

Has anyone had any experience installing these? The seals are the rubber outer seals that run along the top of the door and seal against the window to stop water etc getting inside. I took the door panel off and it looked to me like I would have to take the window out, which I am very reluctant to do. Has anybody installed new outer window seals and do I need to remove the window? If so, any suggestions as to how to go about it without causing a disaster?

Outer window sweeps...sure, changed a few. You roll the window down, remove the door panel, then loosen the window guides that push the window out, pull the glass in towards the car and then remove the screws. The screwdriver will be at a little bit of an angle for 2 of them. Also, there is a screw behind the tirangle seal, you'll have to remove the bolt holding the triangle in place nad slide it aft to expose the screw.
