Want LED tail lights, need help

ok right now i am in search of small single LEDs to set up a tail light assembly similar to the caddy's.
i was searchin around the internet and came upon this:

12vdc Wired LEDs:
With metallic backing protects the solder joints and provides a appealing appearance as well as a smooth surface which can be utilized for mounting.
Includes 12" long ground and power wire, ready to connect to your 12vdc power.
Resistor pre-installed
Several common applications may include automotive lighting, robotics, home interior lighting with the white LED or other colors, aeronautics lighting, marine lighting, showcase lighting with the white LED or other colors, sign illumination with the white LED or other colors, science projects, special effects, photography and many more.
Standard LED colors are blue, green, red, yellow, orange and white.
Purple, pink, ultra-violet, 4 cycle RGB LED, and 7 cycle RGB LEDs by Special Order of 10 or more pieces. RGBs are blinkers.
5mm LEDs used are similar to, but are NOT those we sell.

located at this link: http://www.theledlight.com/specialtyleds.html
scroll down a little till u find it....

and i was wondering if these would be the correct LED bulbs to use in order to set up a "Caddy Like" array of LEDs?i dont want as many as the caddy but just enough to fill the stock camaro tail lens.

any info will help thanks.

I'm looking into a solution for this too. I've seen a number of LED dimmers available, I'm sure it would not be too difficult to wire it up so that when the brakes are on, the LED's are at full brightness, but when the lights are just on at night, they are dimmer. Just a matter of finding an LED bright enough to be brake lights at full brightness.
