Got grid tailights!!!!
well, i got some grid tailights! i saw a berlinetta at a car dealership with them several weeks ago. i went to ask the guy about the car, he wanted a little bit too much money for the car, like $1500 and it was in kinda rough shape so it was a no go, but it had grid tailights on in. went back a few days later and offered the guy $15 and my base tails for the grids. he said "ok". ROCK ON! right? well, he looked inside my car and saw i had an autometer tachometer hanging under the vents. he asked me if i had it installed, i leaned up and said, "no, i put it in". so he wanted me to put a tach in his truck, instead of the $15. 20 mins. later and i even did a clean install on his truck and i had an even swap tails for tails!!!!!

Looks MUCH better!
What happened to your door? Let me guess.. Parking lot?
And it looks like you took the side moldings off recently...
Hope most of it rubs out..

the way my carport is set up you can come in either the end or the side, depending on which driveway you come up (i have two entrances into my yard) and if you come in one and angle right, you can go out the other side. well, this morning i didn't angle right and rubbed up against the side of the carport. i was pretty pissed. i hope to get some rubbing compound on it soon to see if it will come out. this car is not a show car by any means but i still don't want it to look like trash. it dented the door too so...
i will probably end up replacing both doors on the car anyway cause these aren't all that straight and they have some pretty hefty surface rust (all the way through in a few small nickel sized places) so, the dent just solidified the fact that i will be replacing instead of repairing...
