Picking up some camaro seats because they are alot better then what i have in my bird now. Does anyone have any picks of them already installed in their bird. How well does it match the door panels and rest. These are the late 80's camaro seats that have camaro written on them really small in the corner. Also, is it possible to remove the camaro stiching without harming the seats

One last question, what is the best way to clean the carpet? I was thinking about getting one of those rug docter steamers with the upholstery extension.

 

I have my old 90 RS Camaro seats in my 88 Formula temporarily. The fabric doesn't match exactly, but at least they are black and gray which is in keeping with the Firebird's color scheme. I used OxyClean fabric cleaner on the upholstery & carpeting. I've also had good luck with the foaming carpet cleaners in a can with a built-in scrubber on top of the can.

lonsal, do you have any pics on how they look? I was thinking about just installing the camaro door panels but the are where the door handle and windows switches are different in my bird. Looks like the camaro panels would have a big gap in that area if i were to use them.

 

My TA has Grey Camaro Leather in it. It matches the rest of the car just fine. I'll try to post some pics soon.
