I ordered a ram air II hood from them for my 82 firebird. That was Dec. 13th 04. I still aint got it. I emailed them, and talked to them on the help live chat. I feel like i'm getting the run around and getting ripped off.

They charged my mastercard for the hood and shipping on Dec 15th 04. When I emailed the 1st week of Jan 05' the lady said it would be shipped between Jan 13th and 28. When it wasnt shipped on by the 28, I talked to them again, and she said it would be shipped thurs or fri. That was this last past thurs/fri, and it still aint been shipped.

Has anyone had this prob with Ramairhood.com before?

On top of that it don't seem right to charge for it before they ship it. I just don't want to get beat out of almost $600

I didnt have a problem with them but that was a couple years ago.:shrug:

 

just did the same thing with the GTA spoiler i orderd from them.. orderd it on Dec. 26 and didn't get it till Feb. 2. turns out the guys who make the spoiler for them were moving their shop and not going to be making them for a week or two. but nothing was said about it on Ramairhood.com, and after two weeks of nothing i had to e-mail them to find this out..

i also got the run of shiping dates.. i wouldn't have cared that it took so long if they had just told me what was going on up front. i just hate be dicked around

 

Rage13... Sounds like the same thing with me.

It's bad when you pay out a good deal of money, thinking that the part will be shipped out in 2-4 days (what they say on the website) then wait almost 2 full mo. and still not get it!!

They aint even gave me a reason why it's talking so long.

When I talk to them, I feel as i'm just being told something to get me off of thier case.

 

Call your mastercard or visa company and tell them you want a chargeback done.

You'll get a free hood lol

The way credit card company's work... if your credit card is charged and the vender gives you an expected delivery date, and doesn't come through, you can just initiate a chargeback and get your money back.
