another question since my accident
ok guys....
i got a quote to get my car fixed.I told them i have everything except the front bumper cover. I have everything ona parts car that is identical to mine. 1986 T/A....anyway, i need evrything from the radiator forward. how do i start to take everything apart. I want to take the bumper cover off...and them dismantle evrything behind it. I searched and saw alot about camaros.I know t/a's are diff cause of headlights. ANy help would be appreciated. By the way, this summer she'll be better than ever. thats what i have to tell myself because looking at her now is just depressing

look for bolts then take them out until the part comes of the car, easy. take the bumper off first then it will be easy fromt ehn

how do i get that bumper cover off? do i hjave to remove the fender cause i would rather not.......

I just took the one off of my 82. Its easier to take off the whole front nose then just the bumper cover.
There are 8 nuts 4 on each side holding the metal bumper bar to the frame. Then some smaller hardware holding the nose to the fenders. Then the plate the hood latch goes in. its bolted to the radiator area. and then another brace holding that plate to the lower part of the radiator housing.. and the hood latch/release will need to be unbolted.. I think thats it.
Then it should come off. I had minor drivers side damage but enough to bend afew things you might have to yank on it here and there for it to come apart.

yea MY bumper cover is trashed, but the one on the other car he wants to keep even though i wont use it. so the sawzall is out. anyway, ima try tomorrow to see if i can get it off or else itll wait til the weekend so i can focus pirmarily on that.
