87 to 92 body

Hey all, i can get a 91 RS which has a rotted underside(or so he says) for 500 bucks, can 91 doors, fenders, hoods, quarter panels, and bumpers all fit into the 87 sport coupe with out major modification? any insight is great thanks.

but if i were to swap the entire front end bumper fenders and gfx as one it will fit correct?

Someone is getting rid of a F-Body with rusted underside for $500? Sounds like a great deal (for him). I wouldn't touch it. If I were you I'd look for a car with a sound body. Remember our cars don't have a full chassis. The sheet metal between the front and rear sub-frames is all that is holding it together. You'll spend a lot more in the slog run trying to repair the rust damage than you would if you just spend some more up front for one from a car that is solid to begin with.

Sorry, I misread. I guess you're buying it just for parts. Good luck, and get a tetanus booster. Check the bottoms of the doors and fenders for that rust too.
