Put your car info in your info so it shows on the left side, easier then having to type it in, and it's my pet peeve

I'm surprised no one knowledgeable has chimed in yet, so i'll give my take:

I'm using "Plasti-Kote Rust-Not", gloss black for that stuff (brush on)... wire brush or sanding, then some Rust-Mort (phosphoric acid stuff that leaves a protectant behind), then painting it with that stuff... then probably rubberized undercoat to protect it from rocks...

I guess it depends on how bad it is and what tools you have access to....
sandblast, or weld in new metal are other choices, but I think they are pretty overkill, just neutralize it as best you can, then paint it with something that mentions rust in the name, so it's generally moisture proof.

its not mager enough to sandblast or replace.so wire brush it and then plasti coat it then use maybe por-15 or something to seal it.then im going to undercoat the whole car with zbart rubber protection.hows that? lol

Plasti-cote is the same thing as por-15, if you have access to por-15 i'd use that, I can't get it up here, so I use plasti-cote.
otherwise, that sounds good.

Yup i agree por-15 is some good stuff it does wonders. Sounds like u already had in your mind what u were going to do. Never heard of zbart i would recommend using 3m rubber undercoating.
