beacuse im gutting my car and man the carpet is heavy i swear if i put it all together it would weigh 100 pounds or more.

if you buy aftermarket carpet most dont have the deadener on the bottom. taking my old carpet out sucked it was heavey and didnt want to fold up coming out- the new stuff was light and easy to manuver.

factory carpet front and rear is heavy as hell.
i bet it is close to 50 pounds.
my ACC brand is really light and flimsy, prolly 2 lbs total.
tho i do have 18# worth of dynamat in the car, its still less than the stock carpeting.
