Took The Rust Down to Metal, Now What

hey guys i took the MANY lage rust spots i found on my car down to metal, what should i do now?

Transmission: 700r4 crazy beefed up one
Axle/Gears: ones with teeth
not time for prime yet..... you need to either use acid etch primer or epoxy primer on the bare metal. you could use your filler first on the bare metal while your there, is all the paint off the body or just your rust spots?

U need to first cover it in a rust protectant i recommend using por-15 then do what ever u want on top of that. The por-15 will prevent rust from coming back.

this is my first time ever fixing up a car. only the rust spots have been grinded down. where do i get theyse sprays and proxys?

At the local paint supplies place. If u are unsure where one is at stop by the closest place that does paint and body work and ask them where the closest paint supplies is. Also the paint supplies place can give u some tips on how and what to use.

i don;t think por 15 is for the outside of the body as the mil thickness would really be tough to control. por 15 is better suited for under the car and under the carpet, but not under your paint.
