I went to a junk yard today to get some nice seats out of a 91 RS, well when we pulled up, what's sitting there? a REALLY REALLY nice 95 camaro with the 2 toned cloth seats. I just about wet myself when the guy said he wanted 80 bucks for the front and back seats with 2 door panels out of the 91 RS. SCORE!

and about my questions

1) The 1995 camaro was a T-Top like mine, will the headliner on my 83? i looked hard and the newer 4th gens look smaller then the 3rd. anyone know if it'll work?

2) I almost liked the carpet, will the carpet of a 4th gen work in a 3rd gen? i looked hard at that too and notice the passenger side is a little different but the rest is really really close to the same. anyone know if that will fit also?

 

1) Neither will work. First off, the fourthgens only have one roof design for hard and t-tops. All GM did for a 4th gen T-top was cut out of a hardtop. I have a hardtop headliner in my garage, and it wont fit a thirdgen T-top car (eg. mine).

2) IIRC, someone tried the carpet from a 4th gen and i didnt turn out right.

well that just killed my hopes...i really need some carpet and i don't want to dish out 300 big ones for a new one.
