g/fx question

g/fx question

well the g/fx from any year camaro fit on my 83 camaro. the car didnt come with g/fx so if they do are there any other parts i need to get?
one other thing the wires that run to my rear defrosters on the hatchback on one side have started to fall apart and only half my window de fogs. where can i ge replacement wires?

i think g/fx from any thirdgen will fit. im not 100% sure though but i beleive it does.

Good question. I was wondering that myself. I think he's right about any thirdgen, but how are thy fastened to the body? Mine didn't come with 'em either.

sweet thats good to hear but what about the wires for my de foggers? any ideas???

I've looked into this only a little bit... but from what I can tell, there's a mounting bracket that goes under and below the doors on the sides of the car for the side graphics. Then you just need the ground effects. I believe you'll also need a whole new rear bumper cover (the bumper cover has the "ground effects" attached as one whole assembly IIRC). Then you'll need a Z28/IROC/RS (only a few of them) nose. The noses that you'll need will be the ones w/o the "speed holes" that you'll find in the Berlinetta, or some RS's.

I'm unsure about the Firebirds.
