The T-tops on my 82 had the plastic trim strips around the perimeter. Since the trim pieces were falling apart and replacement parts are not available, I removed them. Here's the question: Do I need to switch to the later model t-top bar (black piece in the middle)? It appears that when GM deleted the trim pieces the t-top bar also changed part number. Does anyone know the difference between the two T-top bar part numbers?
