Difference in t-tops? Preference?

I'm looking at getting some replacement t-tops for my worn out plastic ones, and was wondering if 1.) there's a difference in the two (like can I use glass ones, where my plastic ones used to be?) . . . and 2.) which ones do yall prefer and why?

The glass ones don't crackle or fade like the Lexan tops. However, they are heavier and can shatter if dropped or mishandled.

Overall, the glass ones will be more reliable.

Im looking into having both for my car. One set for everday use and another set to throw on at the dragstrip. The glass ones weigh a fair amount more.
