Step By Step Procedure On How To Inlet Flames Under Headliner Fabric?? Know How?

I WANT TO MAKE SOME FLAMES UNDER MY HEADLINER FABRIC SO THEY ARE POPPED OUT 3 D LOOKING , AND PUT THE FABRIC OVER IT. ANYONE HAVE STEP BY STEP ON WHAT TO DO PLEASE POST.

Do something in fiberglass, attach it to the headliner, then put the material over it. Honestly, the stock headliner is really flimsy, so you might want to get one a little better made.... *shrug*

Do a search on this. There is an indepth discussion not to long ago about a guy who did it with his door panels. Proceedure would be exactly the same, Oh yeah....

are you wanting the flames all the same level or just the outline of the flames? For the outline someone on the boards used rope and hot glued them where they wanted them and put the fabric on. Otherwise just cut some high density foam into the shape you want or cardboard. I've seen both and i think the foam looks smoother, but a little more difficult to do.

i want to show the whole flame, maybe i'll try that foam, im going to take a look and try to find the post about how the guy did his doors. i'll let ya know what i find out. thanks for the help.
