Headrest Cover Removal

I have read the previous posts about how to remove the headrest assembly from the seat, but what I am interested in now is how the headrest cover comes off of the headrest.

My car is in storage at the moment and I am lining up some projects for the nicer weather.

Does the type of material that the covers are made from make a difference? Mine are leather.

Thank you for the info.

they're hooked, sort of like a woman's bra would be, only it's made of plastic and it runs half the length of the rest. I took mine off just to see how they came off, and it was very simple. Just take your time so you don't rip them.

gonna get them embroidered??

One Handed Take Off?

Like a woman's bra? Hmm, should be a piece of cake! Maybe I will have to try it with one hand in the dark or something.

I am thinking about getting them embroidered. Nothing definite at this point. Didn't we post on a thread about embroidering headrests?

This guy does nice work.

Once I get my car out of storage in a week or three, I will look at the headrests and try to visualize what I want done if anything. With the flame red leather interior, it may already be gaudy enough!

Probation? What for?

Thanks for the info........much appreciated!!

Any local shop can embroider for cheap. There are places that charge $20 a pair for anything you want on them, and they have a computer-stitch machine so you can even use pictures (black and white pics, then you pick the color to fill). I was thinking about doing the firebird logo facing inward on each headrest.

Probation? I made a tasteless joke about Terri Schiavo on April Fool's Day.
