4th gen console and firebird pod, help!!!!

I am installing a 4th gen console and a firebird radio pod in my 92 Z. Initial test fitting seems to show that the console will go in reasonably flush with the floor and probably a little cutting and repositioning of the shifter/hand brake assembly. The firebird radio pod is another story.

I foresee alot of cutting and modification.

I have seen posts for this setup but would like to know if there is any detail on how to modify the pod to fit.

Can someone point me to instructions on this installation?

alright, now im not 100% on this as i started things off having a firebird radio pod. But, this would be my 2 cents.... grab yourself the pod, remove your old center console from your car, this should also remove the 3rd gen radio/AC pod that is connected to your center console (as in the camaro's they're one piece) after removing them, you should be able to either drill holes and add nutplates to bolt in the firebird pod, however, i can't quite remember how the pod is held up there, can't even remember how i pulled mine out. Well, bolt up the pod, then bolt up the console...might want to first, get the console in, as it should center the pod. The camaro setup migth have been slightly different also, because i didn't have to do any relocation to my e-brake, however my shifter required extensive modification as did mycenter console, as i wanted the automatic one.
