Re-upholstery question??

I have 4th gen seats and am looking to get them redone, front and back. I stopped by a shop locally (Orange Co. CA) and was surprised to be quoted $1200 for the from seats only. I chose a tweed cloth and soft leather. Does this sound good to any one?

I realize the pre-made covers form Hawk's or F-Body are alot cheaper but the materials are very limited.

Are there any So. Cal. people that know of a good shop that is a little more reasonable?

Are there any shops in other states that would mail order custom covers with a larger variety of material choices?

Thanks for the help,

Jim

Try posting on the So. Cal regional board... I've never had this done, so I wouldn't be able to tell you, but I'm sure one of them has.

dammmmm
that price might as well buy some porcars or carbue's

pepboys has some nice seats at great prices
and so does summit

even if they last for a little while, you can buy 4 for those prices or recovering the ones you have

Anyone have photos of their setup.

If you have photos of your custom seats and door panels I would appreciate seeing them.
