Redoing My door Panels, couple of quick questions.

hello,
I am fixing to start redoing my door panels. It says to roll my windows down, but I'm not sure if i'm going to finish this project and there are thunderstorms on the way for tonight. So once the door panel is off can I roll the window back up?, and be able to drive around with the door panel off? I am palnning on just tackling the passenger door today, so It wont be the driver side door.
Thanks,

Yes, you can roll the windows back up. The upper door trim piece will not come off in one piece if your windows are up when you remove it. That's the only reason it needs to be rolled down. You can roll them back up once the panels are off.

Those white pop in pieces that snap the panel into the door itself, I broke a few of tham, and I would like to know what they are called, cause i'm fixing to take a trip to autozone, and I dont think I can explain it to them.

Give me a couple a day and I can figure out what they are call but the should be pretty easy to explain and find. I just replaced my door panels with aftermarket today and would probably tell anyone considering this that the ones from companies such as hawks were dissapointing. The top trim pieces didnt fit right and the top piece is held on by tiny little spikes/nails that you have to push through. Putting those pink in is also a pain because they seemed to glue the plys of the panels togather which make it pretty hard to get these clips your talking about in. They are still nice but felt like giving a word of warning. If you need any pictures of anything involving the doors I can probably help you out. I drove the car home yesterday without door panels no problem.
