Door panels?

Does anyone know what type of glue (or it it something else?) is supposed to be used to reattach the water deflector (plastic piece) to the door again? It's the piece underneath the door panel and is stuck to the door.....the original glue doesn't stick very well seeing that I had to remove the deflector. Thanks

I didn't even know it was held on with glue. I thought it had clips to hold it.

Any type of water proof cement or silicone will work. I replaced my water deflectors and used a clear apoxy that was created to repair tent and camper tops - bonding fabric to metal. So far they've worked fine. I know this because two months after installation I removed the old door panels to swap them for black ones and saw neither water stains (dried droplettes on the plastic) nor rust.

I'm an idiot

I thought you were talking about the black rubber piece at the bottom of the door...Mine was just held on with some black sealant. Haven't had a problem so far.
