i didn't do much of a search, hadn't heard of this info before, but i did check out your links. According to the spancing 5 x 120 mm the wheels should bolt up just fine to our lugs. My only concerns would be backspacing (which actually seemed ok) and offset (which seemed different) i'm not sure what our factory offset is, i was only able to compare to aftermarket wheels. IF someone has the factory specs, im sure you can get a better idea as to how they'd sit.
My advice however, would be to get a wheel w/o the BMW propeller on it, as that might seem a little odd. However, if you're planning on removing the emblem, eh, get whichever u'd want.
Good luck, think i might research this a little more myself.

yeah definitely getting rid of the propeller, but as seen in those links instead of paying upwards of 700-1000 for a set of 18 inch irocs these run at 400 and up, and the used ones are even less.... also I have a buddy with a decal shop and he could make a killer firebird decal to go right over that propeller

your fourth link mentions f-bodies specifically
i would take the backspacing and offset sizes from that set and cross reference it with the search feature on this site
you should come up with the answer you're looking for

Then post your findings here, because I'm interested in this and haven't heard of this before. I'm not really a fan of any of the wheels you picked, but it opens up a lot of new choices for rims.

If you do a search over in the appearance forum - it has definitely been posted about before.
It works ok, but is not recommended. IIRC, the BMW wheels are slightly different than GM wheels and therefore there are some issues. I think there was a post over on LS1.com regarding someone who's wheel actually came off.
