headliner finally

well i was bored today thinking of stuff to do since i just graduated so i decided to do my headliner. the headliner came out very easy didnt break any clips at all. i got the fabric (expensive) 17 bucks for a yard and a half... i had the spray glue and a razor blade always works well. the only problem i had was probally the center light on the top i couldnt get it down with those washer clamps so i ended up losing one... its held up by one of them now i decided to paint that also while i was at it.

the headliner went together easy with the new fabric i mised a few spots i found out that after i put it back in but nothing major. while looking for the clamp for the light up top i found out my seat (drivers) only goes back halfway and im 6'1 i just have delt with it so next time i have time ill take that out and check it out. found some money!

the headliner was light tan and saggin very ugly here is it now

for the front of the headliner i decided to wrap it around so it had no chance of saggin at all

I want to do mine too, but I'm intimidated because I have a t-top car and the backing for it is kind of tore up... There is a broken spot, and it's kind of deformed and sits away from the roof (not sagging material, the backing itself is a little warped)

I don't think theres any saving it, I'll have to get another backing piece at least and refurnish one of those probably.

I tried to do my t-top headliner a few weeks ago, and it just came out ok. The real hard part with the t-top one is getting those rounded corners in the center. I ended up just getting a new one made out of the ABS plastic and it looks great. Thats what I would suggest.
