140 mph speedo

Transmission: 700-R4
Axle/Gears: stock 3.73
140 mph speedo

Are any of the 140 mph speedo's cable driven? I have an 84 trans am, and would like something higher than 85mph that will work, and fit and look right in my guage cluster. Any suggestions on years to look for if they do work with my car?

I hit 85 way to fast. may have to convert to electric

its not really that hard to convert to an electric speedo

i havent done this yet only b/c im missing the speed buffer but i will as soon as i find it. its gotta be in my shed somwhere.
