Warped T-Tops

Hi all,

I have an 89 Formula in very nice original condition. I've noticed a problem with the T-Tops and wondered if anyone could assist me with info. The T-Tops are warping in all different directions. Strange part is, these are glass tops and not Lexan. The tops have, at points, dipped below the roof like and one area of the passenger side front has warped to the point that I'm affraid the weather stripping wouldn't help in the event of rain (this car hasn't seen rain in years).

Any ideas what could be causing this? I'm going to have to replace the tops but I want to take care of whatever problem is causing them to warp in the first place.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Brian

I really can't see the glass warping. If you remove the trim pieces at the front and back of the window, there are sockets that the T-roof pins slide into. They can be adjusted. If they are worn badly then replace them.
