Inner window sweep help???

Hello fellow third gen members. I replaced my outer window sweeps and glass on both doors this weekend.(Yes it was a PITA)
Here is my question, after removing the door panels and replacing them I have waves on the inner door sweeps. Can I remove these ugly bumps, or do I have to replace the inner window sweeps?
Thanks,
Lawrence

Great...

Post was lost. Shorter answer: Yes, you can un-warp them against a piece of wood. For the larger warps I worked the sweeps by hand and then "worked" them against the aforementioned wood. HTH..

Thanks alot,
I will give it a shot. The bumps aren't that bad, it is just an eye sore because I know they are there.

Cool.

Lilke you wrote, it's an appearance issue so you can get to it "whenever". The things to really worry about are the small window felt guides inside the door. Mine went and madew a few small scratches in the glass. They'll be invisible to me when the tint goes on, thank goodness. Now that the car blew its trans I'll have some time to tend to the interior and other details while I wait for the replacement.....

What is strange about the small window felts is that my car only had two instead of 4. The screw hole's were there for the felts but no felts. I went ahead and installed four newer one's because the two I had had already infact scratched the tint on the windows I removed. Thanks again Ken.
