I have a 92 firebird with the plexi-glass t-tops. I found a very nice set of glass t-tops for a 85 firebird. Will they fit on my 92? Is or was there a recall on the plexi-glass t-tops? Thx.

 

They aren't all the same but i think that was after 85. I think 85-92 were the same. someone else chime in here and verify/correct this.

 

My old '85s T-Tops wouldn't fit on my '88.

 

from what i can figure, the tops are all the same size, there would be no benifit to GM changing the design, other than the latches, some have pins others have hooks as well as locks or no locks.

if your car has the pin style lach you can change it to the hook style or vice-versa.

but as far as glass or plexi, i had glass and changed them to plexi, theres no difference in the dimensions or shape.
