Removing rear seats

I'm considering removing my rear seats. Has anyone done this before? I'm looking for some ideas of what to put in the back to replace the seats (maybe subs).

Axle/Gears: bunch of 10 bolts how scary is that
This has been done a million times. Just search around you will find all kinds of examples.

All the ones I have seen here have two filler boxes for where the rear seats were. I think a one piece would house subs better. This is a photo of a 4th gen with a one piece filler (same size space as a 3rd gen), looks like there is lots of room for subs and an amp on top (or hidden) too.

Can I buy the piece to fill in the empty spot where the seats were or do I need to fabricate it?

I saw them once on ebay but haven't since then a year ago. It's extremely easy if you know anyone that can work with wood.
