REAL quick gauge mounting question

OK, I know Im going full Autometer gauges. Tach, speedo, oil press, fuel level, volt and coolant temp....the usual. Only thing is that I want to go ahead and make my panel to mount them all on. My question is lets say I get a 2 1/16" gauge. What size does the mounting hole need to be? exactly 2 1/16"? SMaller, bigger? Ive also thought about goinf 5" tach and speedo with 2 smaller gauges, and getting a dual pod for the a pillar (fuel level and probably). But I still want to go ahead and get all the mounting stuff taken care of. So, What size holes do I need for gauges?
