Acrylic T-TOPS?!?!

Ok i just bought a 91 RS with who knows wat original parts....

well it does have acrylic t-tops. says so on the stickers GM circa 1989....


wats the deal with these opaque wonders... and how and can i paint them

You can buff them and make them super shiny =) Those buff out pretty nice. That's another option.

if you want to paint them, just sand them down like any other body panel, just use plastic adhesion promoter before painting it. You can get it any any auto body supply shop
