i have an 84 camaro and am thinking of putting firebird door panels w/ pouch

will any of the 82-92 firebird panel fit perfect and will the armrest and everything else on door from camaro work w/ the firebird door panel?

or will i need to use all firebird door stuff like armrest ect

 

It depends on the door panel. The molded GTA-style panels will require you to use the matching arm rest, and arm rest bracket on the door, as well as the piece that goes around the door latch.

Some of the other panels are flat just like the camaro panels, but use the smaller piece that goes around the door latch.

Then there's a bunch of firebird styles that use all of the exact same hardware.

 

91 GTA door panel & cup holder.Original 84 arm rest,trim bezel.There was some very minor trimming required to make the 84 trim bezel fit on the panel,but nothing major.

 

Apparently newer GTAs didn't use the "GTA Style" door panel, they used the regular Firebird panels.

 

Are you refering to my panel.That i know of there were two types this & the other with the built in arm rest for the GTAs.I took these off the car myself.Im not a expert though so who knows.Maybe the owner swapped the int.I dont know,but these were on the car & they are leather.So they match the seats.Thats all i care about.
