New here.....need door panel emblems.
Hello, I am new here and hope that I am welcome....even though I am building a Knight Rider replica. I own 1984 Pontiac Trans Am and I used to own another 84 Trans Am as well as a 91 Camaro RS (man I loved that car!!!!) I've also had 2 1979 Trans Ams years ago. One of the 79's was a brown hard top with tan interior and the other was a gold t-top with tan interior (I should have kept that one...it was sweet!!) I just decided to upgrade to 3rd gens. I find this to be a great useful place for information and part locating for 3rd Gens, and wish I knew about it along time ago.
I am looking for the window crank delete emblems for the 82 Trans Am door panels. These can also be found on some 83's as well....I think. They are like a black gel with a gold bird embossed beneath the gel and these cover the holes in the door panels when you have power windows. I currently have a set off of 78 Trans Am which fit the holes but are not correct for my car and would just like to have the correct ones. Does anyone know where I might find these or does anyone here have a set? I check ebay every day and junkyards are pretty much out of the question around here, so I was hoping someone here might be able to help me out.

Hi Bryan
Good luck man.I couldn't even get one for my 82 T/A.I can find Turbo cast wheels and Bowling ball caps all day but not those little freakin door emblems.Luckily I got in a 82 T/A parts car came with a pair.
Classic industries sells them,Not cheap though
Good luck

They aren't correct though. They sell them from 1970-1981 at least according to my '05 catalog. Different bird design and texture.
