prepping underside of hood
have my care all sanded down, doors off and all hardware, curious tho, anyone out there who has prepped the underside of the hood used either scotchbrite, paper or what? Considering that the better majority of the hood will have new insulation under it whats been the best scuffing tool for the underside of the hood?

so long as the paint or primer or whatever is on the uderside is in ok shape you can scotch pad it. go over it a few times with a red scotch pad. thats how i do it at work and ive never had a problem with it.

underhood
the paint is good underneath, just going to be alittle time consuming, but the payoff is good paint adheision. appreciate the reply, I'd already bought red scotch pads, they were course enough. Everything has been wax/degreased twice on the car including underhood, hatch, etc before I even started sanding.
