Hatch Glass Squeaking
How do I keep I keep the hatch glass from squeaking whenever I hit a bump? I tightened the nuts on the hinges and it stoppped, but it came bach and I tightened them again as tight as dare. Now the hatch glass is squeaking again and I cant stop it. Is there some type of felt washer or something I can use isolate it so it wont squeak. And help would be greatly apreciated.
By the way its a 92 Camaro with the electric hatch pulldown
thanks,
Max

try re-adjusting your pulldown a little lower to keep it tighter. that's all i can think of. or put a little petroleum jelly on the hatch seal.

try adjusting the little black screw bump stops on the underside of the hatch. I did that and my hatch quit squeeking.

If you have a the hatch motor, you may need to bump the entire assembly down also - three large bolts hold it in place. Loosen these, and tap it downward, retighten, and test.
