in town there is a 2 owner rs camaro with 125,000 miles for sale, it is a 91 v6 auto car, it needs front bumper, passenger side fender, and a hood, is it worth $850 other than the fender bender parts it looks like the body is pretty good, and the interior is pretty good, is it worth $850

Got another $700+ to fix it? If so then it sounds like a decent car, just make sure the engine is still strong.

I looked at a running '89 IROC coupe with L98 for $1200 that needed no body work and the interior was in decent shape... I'd have to say no. It's only a V6 so if you ever wanted to build the car up you'd have to go find an engine and you'd still have to do a bunch of bodywork to it...

Well that's a steal, not everyone can find those in all parts of the country.

Oh... I wasn't aware that prices for these cars varied so differently in different parts of the country :\ Sorry bout that. Down here in FL that's the price I looked at one for - just lucky I guess. Too bad I didn't buy it

you really have to fall in love with a car...at least that's what i feel...when i looked at my 84Z with the sparkly 80's brown paint, cracked dash and slipping tranny...i knew it was meant to be...and it spent about a week or so plus $2k in the shop on top of the $1500 i payed for it...so if you feel it, get it, if not...don't waste your time...
