PMD seat bottoms

Can anyone tell me if regular T/A seat bottoms are the same or similar to PMD seat bottoms. I'm getting mine recovered and we found that the bolsters on mine are shot. the wires inside the foam are all rusted away. If I find seat bottoms from a 82-92 Trans Am would they fit my PMD seat bottom covers from Hawks?

Need help here!

Thanks!

I think they are quite different. But maybe you can just go to a shop and they can make some new foam for you...I hear that memory foam is kinda good I think.

the foam isn;t the problem, PMD seats have a wire "skeleton" to hold up the side bolsters of the seat bottom. New foam wouldn't do much good.
