Ripped my headrest today, can I sew it?
The fabric looks like it can't, however I am not a seamstress. I mean the headrest is hardly ever touched by me. Anyone ever sewn seat fabric before?
If not I was thinking of taking the headrest cover off w/o ripping it off more, then duct taping it from the inside as best as I can. But that's only a temp fix until I buy a new driver seat.

You can removed the headrest from the seat in most
If its a camaro non adj headrest then your stuck with it
Headrests are very cheap from a junkyard. Most seats get torn up and the headrests still good or the good seats have someone with really oily hair mess up the headrest
For an adj headrest like a norm firebird, put your foot on the seat bottom and yank up and teh headrest should come out. Re-instering it once your done is a bit trickey as you have to move the clip over that restricts how high it goes up or bend it by putting the headrest back wrong
An old butter knife bent at a 90* is good for holding the clip back
The seatcover itself has a zipper o the backside tucked in the bottom. Unzip it, pop the lean forward tab off and peel the cover off the velcro
Pretty strait forward

How it ripped was when I put it back on after washing it. I might try and upholstery shop. Maybe they have some fabric laying around.
