I have been told that there is some spoiler guard on 3rd gens to protect the front spoiler. I don't have one on the car now maybe when the car was stripped to get painted they forgot to put it back on.

Can anyone tell me what the part number is from classic industries, and has anyone got a picture of it?

There is definitely no factory part intended for this... although on a lowered car the air dam does take some of the impact despite the fact that it is not designed to do so.

I did see a skid plate design for C5 corvettes which I think is an excellent idea and design:

it bolts from the front spoiler to the bottom of the radiator support I believe... I'll take a pic tomorrow and post it in the evening.
