Are all rear bumper supports the same?

I know there are aluminum ones from the early 80's cars, but are camaro and firebird rear bumper supports the same? I'm talking about the piece that is between the frame and the bumper and has the egg crate on it, (its late for me). I think I've got a clean parts car and I want to know if I need to pull that too.

The steel brace is exactly the same (for the rear). The honey comb plastic piece is different betweeen camaro-firebird.
