****ing rust!!!
so ya, i took my car down to a friend of mine to get a tune-up yesterday. we get everything ready and position it on the hoist, he satarted to raise the hoist and got the car up in the air about 3 feet when all of the sudden we hear a loud thud and crash, so we finish raising the car and get underneath it and low and behold we put one of the hoist legs right on the only rust hole underneath the car. so now i got a gaping hole about 4" in diameter, what made the day even better is when we pulled the 5 and 7 spark plugs the were both closed shut. good thing he is a certified mechanic and painter.

I would have thought that a certified mechanic would be smart enough to put the lift pads on the unibody and not on the floorboards.

the mechanic wasnt the one that put the legs under it, and it was right behing the ground effect on the front drivers side, but dont worry the one that put the legs there got reamed a new butt hole and will probably have to pay for/or fix himself. good thing i was there to see it happen or a probably wouldnt even know about it. i will posts pics later if i can get a digital cam
