power window question

power window question

ok, on the 3rd gens that didnt have the power window option, are the plug ins still there so you could easily install power windows and such?

Axle/Gears: 2.73 Posi w/Disc
Not hard to wire at all. Power mirrors are even easier. Hardest part is probably finding the plugs.

Yeah, but to convert to power windows you need the motors, tracks and wiring, it is way easier to buy doors that already have the option and then run the wires to under your console. Still a PITA unless you can find them cheap and have time and can get the doors repainted Otherwise it is costly and a PITA

...and unless you have immaculate paint (or at least decently taken care of), it would probably be difficult to match the new door color to the old paint.

Eh...as long as you can source the parts form a yard, it's a one-day job, but I could see it being irritating. Much easier, though, thanks to that incredible GM interchangeability!
