ok on my 91 rs my ground effect on my passenger side door is broken about half way. Just wondering if i would have to take the door panel off to get to the mounts for the new one?

Only if the door pc. is the part thats broke.
On the side ground effects you have 2 parts. 1 is the longest that goes behind front wheel, down side of car under the door, and in front of rear wheels.
Then you have one smaller part that just does on the door.

Yep the door panel has to come off.
Open up the door and look at the bottom ends.. There's a caped nut at each end, plus the speed nuts inside the door holding the ground effects on.

Thanks for your help guys, i replaced the piece today and it looks great, the only problem i had was when putting the door panel back on i could not get the lock piece to click on easy so it just took a lil longer, theres prolly a technique to it, but it was my first time. so thanks again
