building a 88 ta and am using a accel single plane efi it will be a turbo car and i need to know if a ram air hood or a cowl will give me the added room i need over the intake

i had the ws6 style ram air hood on my camaro and it was pretty much like a 3" cowl hood in terms of clearence, youd have to measure how high the intake and inlet elbow are going to be first then you can guage off of that
