tach mounting location
Well i wanted to buy a phantom 2 5" tach for my car and i was wondering were i should mount it, pictures would be great. Firebirds/ trans ams only please.

In my 89 I put mine in front of the oil pressure & voltage gauge! I turned the mounting bracket upside down so the mounting plate is on top and mounted it on the under side of the dash pad where it sticks out over the gauge cluster!!

It seems that I most often see them mounted in Camaros right under the heater vents, where the fuel/battery meters are in a Firebird.
